No Committee Reports
Frank Arney was appointed to fill the board vacancy created by Steve Owens’ move to Vice-President.
Cathy Connel volunteered to staff the OHS booth at this event on March 27.
We still need a new chair for this committee. Cathy Connel suggested that we could cooperate with the State Dept. of Forestry in their tree program.
George Vaclavek is our representative with the OKC Garden Club. They are currently the main voice for Will Rogers Park with the city and if anyone else would like to sit in on the meetings, they are the 2 nd Friday of the month.
Discussed tickets for different “Zones” i.e. Norman area
Possibility of a bus for the tour. Wanda reported that it would cost $525 for a day and we could include lunch in the fee.
Wanda will get a contract for the bus.
Discussed the need to explore additional sponsors for next year.
Shirley Kennedy is chairman for 2004 – delayed report till next meeting.

Steve Owens moved that OHS donate $200 for supplies. Seconded by Cathy Connel. Passed unanimously.
Hugh Stout will look into prices and report at next meeting.
Discussion on honorary members. Two suggestions were Ms. Hightower and Herman Meinders. Tabled until next meeting.
George Vaclavek moved that OHS give out service certificated for former officers. Seconded by Shirley McFarland. Passed unanimously.
